I was hired as a consultant by the Public Relations Office of the University of Pisa in 2001, and I can still say that was the most exciting job I’ve ever had. Our team had been assigned the task of rebranding and reorganizing the information architecture of the University website.

I was hired as a full time employee by the Information Technology Department of the Province of Pisa in 2005, as a “multirole” technician. I enjoyed the time I spent with my co-workers a lot. During my stay, I was in charge for restyling and modernizing their intranet.

The Italian Shiatsu Association of Practitioners decided it was about time to update and restyle their website, to make it look more professional and fresh. They didn’t have any specific ideas about the layout, but needed a content management solution.

In partnership with Del Caldo Design and cooperating with their IT staff, we implemented a content management application for the Scuola Normale of Pisa. They needed something robust and reliable, to manage their 10,000+ pages website.

College and university websites have a lot of roles to fill. They need to provide information for prospective students (both new and transfer), parents of students and prospective students, current students, and alumni.

Partnering with ZenFusion Media, we created a fully content managed website for Mark Adamo. Leveraging the core functionality of Wordpress, allowed us to quickly move from concept to launch in less than two months. As per his request, we added some “special effects” using JQuery and other javascript libraries.

In partnership with Zen Fusion Media, I provided a content management system to replace Frontpage as the way to update the content on their site. Simple and to the point, this website gives a great overview of their resources.

The company was born less than two years before I joined their team, so the goal of my team was to build the “bones” of their web presence: ecommerce, resellers’ area, invoice systems and customer support. After all these years, they are still using some of the things I built for them.
